Diemmebi
Diemmebi is a northern Italian company for community furniture and urban furniture, founded in 1983 in Vittorio Veneto (Province of Treviso, Veneto) as a manufacturer of metal furniture structures. From this metalworking starting point, the company developed over the years a complete own programme of chairs, tables and accessories for public spaces, offices, canteens, waiting and conference areas, hotels and urban outdoor spaces. Conceptual core: an inclusive approach to the wellbeing of future generations — sustainable products within a Made-in-Italy supply and production chain. Product development: all models are supported step by step by the in-house R&D department and emerge through increasing collaboration with international designers. Distribution format: products are delivered in component form, so clients can freely choose covers, materials and finishes — a flexibility that enables the wide range of variants for waiting zones, meeting rooms, offices, canteens, hotels and outdoor spaces. Location: Vittorio Veneto (TV), Veneto.
Awards: Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award, NeoCon Gold Award, Interzum Award, ADI Design Index. Selected designers: Martin Ballendat (German; mesh/lattice chair structure — Cala, NeoCon Gold Award, adapted for Office, Contract and Hospitality), Basaglia + Rota Nodari (contract and living programmes). Management: Stefano Sandonà (Design Director), Sabrina Bettini. Brand initiative: S'mesh — Diemmebi launched the first so-called "non-competition" around a furniture product to engage emerging designers. Outdoor: the outdoor collection is presented under the Urbantime label and shown at the Salone del Mobile. Certifications: ISO 9001:2015.
For architects and contract planners seeking a multiply award-winning, metal-craft-rooted Italian community furniture programme for public institutions, hospitality projects and corporate environments — offering maximum configuration freedom through component delivery — Diemmebi is the most precise address from Vittorio Veneto: with the Red Dot and the NeoCon Gold as evidence of a design maturity that goes significantly beyond the standard contract furniture programme.
