CP Parquet

CP Parquet is a northern Italian parquet flooring manufacturer whose history begins in 1962 in Crespano del Grappa (Province of Treviso, Veneto, in the Treviso Pre-Alps at the foot of Monte Grappa). Founders Nino Gasperini and Angelo Tonella came from the timber trade and were among the first to recognise the significance of wood flooring for the housing construction of Italy's economic boom years: they imported fine woods from former Yugoslavia and thus laid the foundation for the company. In 1982 the business was renamed Crespano Parchetti and converted entirely to parquet flooring — the name expresses the close bond with the territory and the centuries-old wood-working tradition of the region. In 1997 the company was among the first manufacturers in Italy to introduce the three-layer pre-finished parquet (Antico Asolo three-layer) — at the time still largely unknown in Italy. In 2004 one of the sector's first ISO 14001:2004 environmental certifications followed. Management today lies with the second generation: Massimo Gasperini, Antonio Tonella, Cristina Gasperini. Further certifications: PEFC (sustainable forest management), ISO 9001. 2022: anniversary year (40 years of parquet). Capsule collection FLOOR LANDSCAPE — designed by architect Monica Armani. Showroom and headquarters: Via Rosset 2-4-6-8, Pieve del Grappa (TV).

Collections: three-layer pre-finished parquet floors (large formats, various oak species, smoked, oiled, waxed finishes), Onda line (detailed aged floors with hand-crafted knot indentations). CP LAB DESIGN: complementary interior elements using the same 5mm noble wood top layer — stairs, boiserie, wall claddings, complementary décor. Sustainability: Greenpeace wooden medal 2012 (highest number of ecologically managed wood species of any Italian company), low-VOC lacquers and natural oils, parquet transparency code. 2018: permanent exhibition in the Agape12 concept store in Milan.

For architects seeking a flooring manufacturer who understands material, sustainability and design culture as a coherent overall concept, CP Parquet is the most unusual address in the Treviso Pre-Alps: a 60-plus-year family company that has made the transition from flooring specialist to space designer — with a Monica Armani collection behind it and an Agape showroom as a permanent Milan reference.
