Artu is a Polish design furniture brand, founded in 2015, based in Łomianki near Warsaw (artu.works). The company was founded by Dmitry Rym and oriented towards the HoReCa segment and office furniture. The brand positions itself as a European design label with international ambition — produced in Poland, designed in collaboration with designers from various countries. The range covers chairs, bar stools, sofas and tables in solid wood and metal, with ergonomics, aesthetic rigour and high manufacturing quality as central values. New collections are developed each year through a rigorous selection process: only around 10% of all submitted design proposals go into production; development time ranges from 4 months to 2 years.
Key collections and milestones: Wox (design Pavel Vetrov, wooden chair from 7 components, Red Dot Award 2020, over 2,500 pieces in its first year) — the brand's breakthrough piece. Taptap (design Moritz Putzier, solid ash without any plywood element, featured on Designboom), Moss (sofa), Eclat, Duran, Katana, LeTube, Marco, Porto (side table, Pavel Vetrov, ash). Designers: Pavel Vetrov, Moritz Putzier, Sergey Lvov, Figuron Studio and others. Artu also runs cultural side projects, including the exhibitions ABOUT CHAIRS (with Moritz Putzier) and YOU THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A CHAIR (with Freya Architects, Belgrade). First participation at Salone del Mobile Milano 2026 (stand designed by architect Wojciech Nowak). Contract distribution: Europe, Middle East, Asia.
For architects and restaurateurs, Artu is relevant as an emerging Polish contract furniture brand — with an international designer network, award-winning seating and a clear minimalist formal identity.
