Arper was founded in 1989 in Monastier di Treviso (TV), Via Lombardia 16 — as the evolution of a leather craft enterprise built by the Feltrin family during the 1980s. Co-founder Luigi Feltrin served as honorary president until his death in 2020; the company is now led by his sons Mauro and Claudio Feltrin (President). Arper is family-owned and independent. With 280 employees, a turnover of €52 million (2024) and an export ratio of approximately 90%, the brand ranks among the most significant contract furniture manufacturers in Italy. Arper is present in 90 countries and operates 13 own spaces worldwide: subsidiaries in New York, Dubai, London, Tokyo and Mexico City, plus showrooms in Milan, Stockholm, Cologne, Amsterdam, Oslo, Chicago and Los Angeles.
The product programme spans seating, tables, lounge and waiting areas, and acoustic solutions — with a strong focus on the contract sector. Key collections: Catifa (Lievore Altherr Molina, over 2 million units sold, multiple variants), Catifa Carta (sustainable version, recycled paper), Kinesit (ergonomic office chair), Meety (conference table, Simon Pengelly), Zinta Lounge (modular sofa, Lievore Altherr Molina), Aston (Jean-Marie Massaud), Cila, Saya, Adell (organic lounge armchair), Lepal, Pix, Kiik (modular bench), Ralik, Saari, Semiton (shelving system, García Cumini) and Pausit (Sylvain Willenz). Key design partners: Lievore Altherr Molina / Lievore + Altherr Désile Park, Jean-Marie Massaud, Simon Pengelly, Ichiro Iwasaki, García Cumini and Sylvain Willenz. Sustainability is a central brand value.
