9to5 Seating was founded in 2004 by Dara Mir and Darius Mir in California and is headquartered in Hawthorne, CA (3211 Jack Northrop Ave). The company is a vertically integrated seating manufacturer with over 500,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing resources across its Hawthorne facility and a plant in Guangdong, China. Approximately 300 employees produce a broad seating portfolio spanning executive, task, conference, guest, stool and lounge categories. The distribution network covers more than 1,000 dealers across the US. Since November 2019, 9to5 Seating has been part of the Norwegian Flokk Group — the leading European manufacturer of office seating brands including HÅG, RH, Giroflex and Offecct — with products sold in more than 80 countries.
