Nagano Interior is a Japanese family company for solid wood furniture — founded in 1946 by Ryozo Nagano (1918–2001) in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture (Kyushu, southern Japan). Ryozo Nagano began furniture production in the immediate post-war period in a barn in Amagi and established the company through his principle of "Miso Koshi" — a frugal, resource-respecting management approach that wasted not a single wood chip.
