VIDAME EDITIONS is the in-house production label of Breton designer Julien Vidame, based in Rennes (Brittany, France). Vidame studied at the Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués (LISAA) in Paris, worked at Suck UK in London and then returned to Brittany to develop his first product programme. First orders came from Le Bon Marché and the Centre Pompidou boutique. The brand's international breakthrough came in 2009 with the Prix Découverte de la Presse at Maison & Objet Paris for the Vague collection (shelf, console, bedside table in curved steel).

In 2022, the Coquillage shelf won the FD100 — a French design award presented by the Élysée Palace to 100 projects strengthening the international influence of French design. Also in 2022, Vidame designed the entire scenography for the Gucci Fashion Week show in Milan, built exclusively from the brand's mirror pieces. Products: consoles, bedside tables, coffee tables, mirrors, shelves, rugs. Materials: raw steel (waxed patina), marble (Carrara, Nero Marquina), brass, aluminium, leather, glass. All products Made in France. Bespoke versions available.

For interior designers and boutique specifiers who seek French design pieces with a clearly identifiable creative authorship, a state design award, an international fashion reference (Gucci) and Made-in-France provenance, VIDAME EDITIONS is a concise and well-documented address in the upper register of contemporary object design.
