Seletti is an Italian design and homeware brand headquartered in Cicognara, Province of Mantua, Lombardy. The company was founded in 1964 by Romano Seletti, who from 1972 undertook trips to the Far East and imported everyday products — tin cups, plastic tablecloths, bamboo articles — selling them through Italian markets. Seletti was a pioneer in packaging design and mass distribution logistics. In 1987, son Stefano Seletti joined the company and initiated a creative reorientation: establishing the internal design laboratory Selab, introducing a design aesthetic into everyday products and building systematic collaborations with external designers and artists. Today Seletti is run by Stefano and Miria Seletti.

The range covers tableware (porcelain, glass, cutlery), lighting, furniture, rugs, accessories and home décor. Iconic collections: Estetico Quotidiano (Selab, 2008), Monkey Lamp (Marcantonio, 2013) and Seletti Wears Toiletpaper (collaboration with Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari). Further designers and collaborators include Studio Job, CTRLZAK and Diesel. Works in the permanent collection of MoMA New York. Henry van de Velde Award (Belgium's highest design prize) 2014. Presence in over 80 countries.

Seletti is for interior designers and the design-oriented trade the pop-culturally rooted, irony-conscious Italian brand that for decades has systematically transformed everyday objects into coveted interior pieces through design collaborations and artist partnerships.
