Ermetika is a southern Italian manufacturer of sliding door and flush-wall door systems. The company was founded in 1987 by the Spinazzola brothers from Barletta, Apulia — as one of the first businesses in Italy to specialise in the production of frames for sliding pocket doors. The Ermetika brand name was introduced in 1992. Production takes place exclusively in Italy; more than 110,000 units leave the factory annually. The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and operates a 100 kW photovoltaic system for energy self-sufficiency. Ermetika has a presence in over 30 countries.
The programme comprises two main lines: the Classic Collection (frames with casing and architrave) and the Absolute Collection (flush-to-wall systems without casing). In addition, the xREVERx system is a reversible hinged door that can be adjusted in opening direction during installation — the first in its category with a height up to 2,400 mm.
