EGO Paris is a French manufacturer of premium outdoor furniture. The company was founded in 2004 by brothers Nicolas and Yvan Sommereux in Belleville, Beaujolais, Rhône-Alpes. Nicolas Sommereux manages the company; Yvan Sommereux oversees production — including hands-on intervention directly on the piece when required. The core expertise lies in aluminium fabrication. All products leave the factory within three to four weeks of order placement. The export share represents 70 per cent of turnover; the company has approximately 100 points of sale worldwide, with a US subsidiary in Atlanta.
The range covers modular outdoor sofas, sun loungers, dining tables, armchairs, daybed systems, side tables and parasols — all in aluminium with padded outdoor textiles. Many collections are modular and configurable by the client. Designers: 5.5 Design Studio, Thomas Sauvage, Fabrice Berrux and Dorothée Noirbent. Awards: Red Dot for the TANDEM sunlounger and NYCxDesign Best Product Award (Outdoor category) for NESTED CABINS.
