WINI Büromöbel (full name: WINI Büromöbel Georg Schmidt GmbH & Co. KG) is a German manufacturer of office furniture from Coppenbrügge/Marienau (Hameln-Pyrmont district, Lower Saxony), founded in 1908 in Duingen by Wilhelm Niemeier — the name WINI is an acronym from the initials Wi(lhelm) Ni(emeier). Niemeier started as a 27-year-old wood turner, built a wood goods factory after the First World War and established WINI over decades as a leading manufacturer of school and office furniture with several branch operations. Today Jan Hendrik Karsch leads the company in the fourth generation; production is exclusively at the Marienau site, Made in Germany. WINI ranks among Germany's top 10 office furnishers and is a founding member of the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung). Current headcount: over 220 in Marienau. Certifications: LEVEL 3 (FEMB sustainability standard); Gold Medal "Sustainable Manufacturer" (Federal Association of the Consumer Initiative).

The product portfolio covers 17 furniture systems: WINEA PRO (desk system, developed together with 12 German architects), WINEA MAXX (cabinet system), WINEA SONIC and WINEA SINUS (acoustic systems, German Design Award), WINEA ELEMENTS (communication and central zone furniture, LEVEL 3 recognition), WINEA TEAMS (mobile conference table system), WINEA FLOW (first desk system with motorised rapid adjustment), TWISTER (folding desk on wheels), SARA board (100% recycled waste wood chipboard). Planning concept: "Das Mein Büro Prinzip" — activity-based office planning methodology.

For workplace consultants, architects and contract buyers seeking a German medium-sized manufacturer with over 115 years of history, LEVEL 3 certification, consistent batch-size-1 production, one of Germany's most complete office furniture programmes and a proven design award track record, WINI is one of the most substantive and best-certified addresses in the German office furniture market.
