Vaghi is an Italian manufacturer of office and community seating based in Bovisio Masciago (Brianza, Province of Monza). Founded in 1964 as Tappezzeria dei Fratelli Vaghi — a craft upholstery shop run by the Vaghi brothers — the company quickly developed into a specialised chair manufacturer. In 1974, it moved into a purpose-built facility of 5,000 m², producing 24,000 chairs per year. Today, 20,000 m² of production and warehouse space support an annual capacity of 120,000 chairs.
Vaghi accompanied the history of the Italian office chair from the economic boom to the present. The 1960s saw the "Serie 65" and "Serie Super" models; the 1970s the Kiruna line — 100,000 units in six years. The Sana and Allegra models were nominated for the Compasso d'Oro in 1988. All products are certified to national and international standards and fully developed and tested in-house. Collaboration includes design studio Baldanzi & Novelli.
For workplace planners and contract buyers seeking a decades-long specialist in office and community seating with Made-in-Italy certification and proven scalability, Vaghi is one of the most solid addresses in the mid-range segment.
