Four Design is a Danish company for canteen and conference furniture and contract seating, located since the 1930s in Gislev (island of Funen, Region of Southern Denmark) — in a charming historic building that was once the coachbuilding business Birkemose A/S. Four Design (as 4-Design) was founded by Karl Birkemose together with three partners; in 1995 Ervin Keldorff joined as Business Director; in 1998 a strategic decision was made to expand towards export markets.
