Ex.t is a Florentine design brand for bathroom furniture, accessories and lighting, founded as the evolution of a company whose history began in 1945 with the entrepreneurial initiative of Giulio Tanini. Ex.t is the latest and most contemporary developmental stage of this three-generation company history: since 2010, Giulio Tanini's granddaughters Ingrid and Azzurra Tanini lead the company and with Ex.t formulate an independent design language for the contemporary bathroom. The company belongs to the Gruppo Tanini, which celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2025 and in 2025 co-founded the TORTONA LAB in Milan — a new design hub for architects and interior designers. All Ex.t products are manufactured exclusively by Florentine and Tuscan craft workshops and small manufacturers (100% Made in Tuscany). The entire company team consists of women. The design language aims at an unconventional, extraordinary bathroom: modular, versatile, functional — always conceived as a dynamic space that adapts to the needs of contemporary living.
