Deodara is a northern Italian furniture manufactory from Bassano del Grappa (Province of Vicenza, Veneto), founded in 1977 by Sebastiano Scomazzon. Scomazzon decided to channel his years of craft experience as a carpenter into his own enterprise — initially in the garage of his home, as a small family business focused on the individual piece rather than mass production. In Bassano del Grappa, a region with deep-rooted craft traditions in the restoration and creation of art furniture, the company found its natural environment. Today Deodara is led by Sebastiano's sons Emanuelito, Riccardo and Diego Scomazzon, who have further developed the founder's craft approach. Since 2008 CNC machines and digital construction programmes have been used — not to replace artisanal work, but as a valuable aid for lean, low-waste production that continues to create beautiful and long-lasting products.
Range and philosophy: Deodara understands itself as a dynamic and artisanal company producing high-quality Made-in-Italy furniture with a focus on functionality and aesthetics. The core of the offer consists of three integratable systems: Kitchen System (kitchens), Wall & Cabinet System (wall and cabinet systems) and Night System (sleeping area). All products are variable in materials, surfaces and dimensions; modular systems can be combined and configured to measure. Categories represented on Archiproducts: kitchen furniture, living room wall systems, wardrobes, bathroom furniture. Continuous innovation: the company constantly seeks the best technologies for handcrafted furniture — with particular attention to longevity and safety. Location: Bassano del Grappa (VI), Veneto.
For architects and interior designers seeking craft-produced Italian furniture for residential, bathroom and kitchen projects — rooted in a Venetian family business, fully modular and customisable, and treating the natural connection between craftsmanship and modern CNC technology as a quality guarantee — Deodara is the most personal address from Bassano del Grappa: with nearly 50 years of family tradition behind it.
