Caimi Brevetti S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of design furniture, furnishing accessories and acoustic systems, founded in 1949 in Nova Milanese (Province of Monza e Brianza, Lombardy) by Renato Caimi. The word "Brevetti" (Patents) in the company name is programmatic: Renato Caimi saw the protection of inventions as a core element of entrepreneurial activity — in his words: "Ideas are the only human capital." Over decades hundreds of products were patented; the company became a founding member of the ADI Foundation (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale). Caimi participated in the exhibition "Disegno e Design – Brevetti e creatività italiani" at the Ara Pacis, Rome, and won the first edition of the DesignEuropa Award of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The company today has three plants, with headquarters in Nova Milanese, managing a range of over 3,500 items and 35,000 components.

Tested at London South Bank University Laboratory. The material appears in various product forms: wall panels, ceiling panels, acoustic partitions, desk dividers, luminaires (BuzziShade), sofas.
