Bõln is a Spanish furniture brand, founded in November 2020 in Cabañas de Ebro (Zaragoza region) by engineer Fernando Rivas — son of the founder of Poliuretanos Rivas, a Spanish manufacturer of polyurethane foam components with over 40 years of experience. The decisive impulse: Fernando Rivas used Flexyskin, a patented material developed within the parent company, as the foundation for a new furniture brand — despite launching in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. The name Bõln is a coined word that sounds Nordic but signals its Spanish origin through the tilde over the "õ". The brand describes itself as combining "Nordic design with Spanish passion, liveliness and soul".

Core material Flexyskin: a high-performance polyurethane foam whose raw material consists of 90% plant production waste — ecological polyurethane foam production from biomass. Flexyskin properties: extremely high resistance, non-deformable, fire-resistant (no flame spread), waterproof (suitable for outdoor use), easy to clean, antibacterial and antifungal (certified to JIS Z 2801/ISO 22196). Seamless compact block formed in one piece — no seams, organic design. Technology development took five years. Design studios: Stone Designs (Madrid, first two collections: Sarek modular system and Abisko stools), Mattias Stenberg Studio (Stockholm, VISTAS collection — modular, coloured elements in 360° configuration), Nacar Design (Barcelona). Seven collections have been launched since 2020, including a children's series. Applications: indoor and outdoor, community spaces, offices, public spaces, schools.

For architects and contract planners in public spaces, educational institutions and hospitality, Bõln is the most consistent new European furniture brand in the segment of circular, bio-based materials — with a high-performance material that delivers aesthetic quality and maximum contract suitability in one step.
