ALUSCALAE S.r.l. was founded in 2002 by shareholders from the semi-finished aluminium industry, with comprehensive expertise in extruded profiles, aluminium sheet, mechanical processing and protective and decorative surface treatments. The company designs, manufactures, installs and supplies aluminium alloy structures for architecture in residential, public and tertiary-sector buildings — delivered either fully installed turnkey or as direct-assembly kits.
The product programme covers: access and safety staircases (fire escape and emergency stairs), balustrades and railings for terraces and urban furniture, walkable surfaces, mezzanines and thoroughfares, road safety elements and prefabricated monoblock balconies (particularly suited to hotel buildings). The core product Aluplana is a modular system of extruded aluminium profiles for steps and platforms — anti-slip, heel-proof, anti-vertiginous, maintenance-free and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. All systems are built to a design philosophy of maximum flexibility, allowing both structural optimisation and individual surface customisation. BIM files are available for selected products. Reference projects include residential complexes, office buildings, panoramic terraces and pedestrian walkways across Italy and Europe.
